The Text book of Information Technology for Class XI or +2 1st year is strictly based on the syllabus of CHSE, Odisha. The syllabus deals with the basics of the computers and get advancements. The whole syllabus has been bifurcated in four different units.
UNIT 1 revolves around Hardware, Software and Open-Source Concepts.
UNIT 2 is dedicated to programming with IDE. It contains coverage on programming concepts which form the basis of Java NetBeans programming. Other advanced topics of the syllabus have been covered in the form of chapters. A detailed coverage on data types, decision structure and looping structure has been given in the chapters of this unit. Programming guidelines have also been covered in the unit.
UNIT 3 is based on Relational Database Management System. It also contains coverage on database concepts which form the basis of MySQL. Other advanced topics of the syllabus have been covered in the form of chapters.
UNIT 4 covers IT Applications.
